Around the same time, many businesses shifted to remote work due to the pandemic, and \u00c4yr\u00e4v\u00e4inen was no exception. Although they originally wanted a new ERP system for other reasons, they soon realized that Koho also made facilitating remote work much simpler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Compared to our old system, the cloud-based Koho isn\u2019t tied to a specific location, so it\u2019s easy to work from outside the office, too. With Koho, we get real-time information about our project progress and invoicing. Previously, we had to gather data from Excels, but now we can track everything in Koho and the information is always up to date. Our work has been sped up especially by the real-time reporting and the quick, easy access to project-specific details&#8221;, says the CEO of \u00c4yr\u00e4v\u00e4inen, <strong>Henri Airaksinen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In searching for a new ERP system, Airaksinen considered Koho\u2019s clear interface and Finnish origin to be key factors. In the spring of 2020, Koho was rolled out and about six months later, the whole personnel is using the software with positive results. Of course, any large-scale shift in work routines takes time and practice before everyone settles in. After the initial learning phase, \u00c4yr\u00e4v\u00e4inen began to fully benefit from Koho\u2019s advantages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We\u2019ve adopted new ways of working alongside Koho, and Koho, in turn, has tailored the software to serve our needs better. From the start, our collaboration has been open and close-knit, and we\u2019ve received plenty of help in troubleshooting whenever it was needed. We\u2019ve overcome our early challenges, and the development work with Koho continues. We have gotten customised administration views, and more customized reports can be done for us whenever needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Henri Airaksinen, CEO, \u00c4yr\u00e4v\u00e4inen Oy<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>All 65 of \u00c4yr\u00e4v\u00e4inen\u2019s employees use Koho. The company has five different user levels: time loggers, project managers, unit managers, executives, and invoicing personnel. Each group has slightly different views in Koho, and two main administrators have broader permissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith Koho, we\u2019ve been able to challenge our old routines and learn new practices. What our staff appreciates most is Koho\u2019s speed. Time loggers in particular have given a lot of positive feedback, while unit managers have taken a bit longer to get used to the reporting functions. Still, Koho is more pleasant to use than our previous system, and usage speeds up as it becomes more familiar&#8221;, Airaksinen says<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur invoicing has changed quite a bit, and now it\u2019s easy to check everything electronically. Our administrators lock in hours each month to generate test invoices, which are then reviewed and edited if necessary.
